Who are we for ourselves, others, and our organizations?

Recently, our CEO Larry Feinstein and founder/executive chairman Dan Campbell attended an event where Pat Falotico, CEO of the Robert K Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership, spoke on that specific topic. So what is servant leadership and why is it so relevant to our work at Hire Dynamics?

A servant leader focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of people and the communities to which they belong. This person differs from a traditional leader in that he or she puts the needs of others first in the hopes of aiding their development and overall performance.

At Hire Dynamics, we believe that staffing is more than filling a position. Our mission is to make a difference in our clients’ business strategies by placing the right talent with them. We look to serve both our talent and our clients to the best of our ability. Our commitment to putting our people first has helped us become an award-winning loyalty leader both locally and nationally.

As Pat spoke more about what defines true servant leadership, she asked, “Who are you for yourself, for others, and for your organization?”

Pat’s question “Who are you for others?” relates best to how we manage our teams. Hire Dynamics’ values revolve around the people we come in contact with every day. We look to have a positive impact on everyone in our path, to engage and attract influential people, to overachieve our client’s business objectives and build loyalty with our employees, clients and talent. In an effort to provide the best conditions for our talent, we provide career advocacy, continuous training and great benefits. Investing in talent builds strength in our company and loyalty in the long run.

Pat’s closing quote from the Center’s namesake, Robert Greenleaf, was, “The best thing we can do is wait to serve as asked and as instructed by those who are seeking our service.” A wonderfully simple statement with complex meaning and implications. How can we better serve, guide and improve the lives of the people around us? We at Hire Dynamics want to continually improve the relationships we have with our clients, talent and community each and every day.
