Junior Achievment of GeorgiaGWINNETT, Ga. (Aug. 27, 2015) – Industry leading staffing provider, Hire Dynamics, is proud to partner with Junior Achievement (JA) of Georgia to provide Gwinnett students with a dynamic learning experience designed to foster career readiness skills for professional success. For more than 10 years, Hire Dynamics has supported JA’s efforts and is continuing its partnership with the development and implementation of JA BizTown®, one of two interactive venues within the Junior Achievement (JA) Discovery Center at Gwinnett. The center will serve more than 25,000 sixth and eighth grade students during the 2015-2016 school year.

“Hire Dynamics first teamed up with JA BizTown to take learning beyond the classroom to help teach kids real, applicable skills required for jobs today,” says Dan Campbell, CEO of Hire Dynamics. “Our partnership has since continued and we are more excited than ever to give back to our local community of children in Gwinnett by using our business insight to help prepare them for the workplace.”

Beginning with 18 in-class lessons, the program concludes with a day at JA BizTown presented by Cisco. The JA BizTown experience provides students the opportunity to learn about careers by transforming into adults for one day through a simulation that creates an interactive economy. Students receive job assignments and work in teams at their assigned business. By the end of the simulation, each student completes a day’s work, develops a personal budget and practices sound purchasing.

Georgia’s first JA BizTown opened in August 2013 at Junior Achievement’s Chick-fil-A Foundation Discovery Center. Since that time, upwards of 30,000 students have benefited from the program. Hire Dynamics was proud to be the only staffing firm out of the 47 sponsoring companies then, and is now even more so as JA and its partners get to bring this program to the students of Gwinnett County.

The Grand Opening of the JA Discovery Center at Gwinnett will take place on August 27, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 1333 Old Norcross Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. To learn more, visit georgia.ja.org.
