Hire Dynamics Named a 2020 Best Place to Work Amid “Nashville’s Hardest Year” By Hire Dynamics POSTED: August 13, 2021 CATEGORY: News For the third time, Hire Dynamics’ Nashville branch was voted a “Best Place to Work” in the small business category by the Nashville Business Journal with a grade of 99.8. The ranking was a welcome — and hard-earned — recognition of the team’s resilience during what Mayor John Cooper called “Nashville’s hardest year.” While the pandemic tested the entire nation, Nashville seemed to get more than its share of challenges as deadly tornadoes struck in March, a straight-line windstorm “derecho” brought damages and record power outages in May, and a Christmas Day bombing in downtown tested residents, employers and workers alike. As the pandemic gutted Music City’s legendary entertainment district, at the same time manufacturers, logistics and warehouses on the city’s north side saw rising demand for workers (due to the spike in ecommerce for everything from food to clothing to home office supplies). The Nashville branch worked creatively to resolve the resulting mismatch of worker skillsets with available jobs. They advised both clients and talent to explore ways to recognize crossover skills from hospitality to manufacturing, logistics, distribution centers, contact centers or administrative work and to take a chance on something new. Throughout the year, HD’s Nashville branch found ways to create opportunities amid hardship. They pulled together to make workplace changes to drive culture and performance. The Best Places to Work award uses employee feedback from online surveys to identify employers with stellar company culture, employee retention and overall job satisfaction. “I could not be more proud of the Nashville team and their incredible accomplishments during the many challenges that 2020 brought,” said Billy Milam, CEO of Hire Dynamics. “Their passion, grit and positivity in the face of adversity built a winning culture focused on serving one another, our clients and our talent. I’m extremely proud of each member of our team, and even more excited about where they are taking Hire Dynamics throughout the Tennessee market” To learn more about the Nashville Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” awards, and to view a complete list of honorees, click here.
