Key Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming components, subassemblies, labeling, and finished goods in accordance with internal standard operating procedures, work instructions, and part or product specifications. Inspect Boston Scientific manufactured, packaged, and labeled products to verify conformance to quality requirements. Perform inspections by following documented procedures or test methods, including visual inspection (aided or unaided), functional testing, and physical testing using visual measurement systems or Instron tensile equipment. Maintain accurate, legible, and organized inspection records in compliance with Good Documentation Practices and properly prepare and review inspection paperwork. Prepare nonconformance documentation when applicable. Determine appropriate sample sizes using statistical sampling plans such as ASQ Z1.4 or C=0 and properly sample product per procedures and specifications. Clearly identify and segregate product based on inspection status. Promote and adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Documentation Practices, and other applicable quality and regulatory standards as required.
