As part of Hire Dynamics’ people-first mindset, our Greenville branch office partners with the Center for Community Services (CCS), a nonprofit organization based in southern Greenville County. CCS offers a “one-stop-shop” approach to health and human services in Southern Greenville County. The Center’s programs and partners focus on equipping low-income families with the skills and support needed to acquire and maintain a self-sustaining wage through employment.

CCS Case Managers work one-on-one with people to identify barriers to their success, and develop actions plans that will move clients toward achieving their goals. Workers also learn financial management skills so they can better manage their earnings and plan for financial stability. In addition to employment-focused case management, CCS offers child-care, education, health-care, and crisis assistance programs on-site to provide the support network necessary to ensure long-term success.

Catie Buckingham, Assistant Director at CCS, has shared this success story:

When John first visited CCS, he was only temporarily employed, making it difficult to budget and make ends meet each month. After receiving emergency assistance, John met with a case manager to work on writing a resume and establish personal employment goals. Not long after visiting CCS and working with staff, John was hired as a full-time employee at a local manufacturer. John is now on a pathway to long-term success.

Hire Dynamics and CCS are closely aligned as partners to connect driven people with life-changing careers. While there is no silver bullet to solving the issue of poverty, a great job with a livable wage is critical piece of the solution. CCS meets Hire Dynamic’s “What We Do Matters” mantra squarely, helping more than 60 people this year find jobs as well as assisting them with vital life skills such as financial literacy, stress management, and continuing education career training.
