Job Posting: Forklift Operator/Warehouse

Forklift Operator/Warehouse- $20 PER HOUR 

The ideal candidate verifies the accuracy of orders, operates forklifts, unloads and unpacks incoming shipments, and prepares items for stocking.

Hours:

Day Shift- 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday. No overtime offered while on temp to perm assignment.

This assignment is temp to permanent and conversion is offered based on performance, attendance, and behavior. This client has hired on several of our associates in the past and offers great benefits!

Pay:

$50+ PER HOUR (Based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments and verify items on packing slips and purchase orders match.
• Operate Sit-down and Reachlift Forklifts
• Unpack and inspect items for defects or damage.
• Sort and place items on shelves in appropriate areas.
• Perform physical job duties, including pulling material, storing material, and tagging material (both raw material and plastics as needed)
• Will accurately record data on material pulled that is provided to our customers.
• Follow the standard work process provided for order picking and return, quality gate management, and material installation.
• Keep the work area organized and clean.
• Assist with loading outbound shipments as needed.
• Compile data regarding exceptions and errors, both inbound and outbound from production.
• Meet the KPI metrics for safety, quality, velocity, and cost.
• Must complete all company safety training as required.
• Maintain a 5S standard for their area and the warehouse facility. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and understand written and numerical data.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

• Ability to read and follow safety instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Possess a team-oriented, positive attitude.
• Ability to operate Forklifts (Reach lift and Sit-Down)

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely operate a mechanical truck or be trained to operate such vehicles.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and bend for extended periods and perform repetitive actions.
• Exposed to moderate manufacturing noises.
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small components and equipment.
• Able to work in varying temperature and humidity conditions.
• Ability to work at heights of up to 30 feet.
