Job Duties: We are seeking a skilled production, sewing supervisor to oversee our sewing team, and ensure that production schedules are met. Your responsibilities will include supervising, sewing personnel, ensuring quality control, scheduling and assigning production task, and monitoring the maintenance of sewing equipment. Our ideal candidate has excellent leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of sewing techniques in textile materials. Ultimately, the role of the production, sewing supervisor is tenure that all products are manufactured to the highest quality, within budget, and delivered on time. Pay Rate: starting at $25 per hour Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm Job Requirements Responsibilities supervise, sewing personnel and assigned daily tasks. Ensure quality control standards are met Coordinate with production manager to set and meet production goals Monitor and maintain sewing equipment, scheduling repairs as needed Train new sewing staff and provide ongoing Ensure compliance with safety standards, and workplace regulations Assist with the design implementation of new products Manage inventory of raw materials and finish products Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes Prepare production reports, and performance evaluations Preferred skills Ability to say on all types of machines Strong proven leadership Multitasking Bilingual and English Spanish is helpful Solid understanding of sewing techniques and textile materials Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Knowledge of safety standards, and workplace regulations Proficiency and production software and equipment maintenance Ability to communicate, effectively, both orally and in writing High school diploma or equivalent, a certain certification in textile or fashion design This job is no longer available
