Job Posting: Forklift Operator

Hire Dynamics is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Forklift Operator job in Mebane, NC. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity. As a Forklift Operator you will be responsible for provideing a safe and friendly pickup/delivery experience adding value through accurate receiving of finished goods while assuring all required standards are achieved. Pay: $16.43

Shift: 2nd 3pm – 11pm

Responsibilities for this Forklift Operator job include:
• Be a safe, proficient lift truck operator
• Effectively utilize WMS-SAP and MD04, as it relates to the job function
• Follow required labeling procedures (Storage Unit IDs, etc)
• Create space for new material coming into the tunnel as needed. ie, the fork truck racks and driving in racks.
• Accurately receive and move material
• Stage material correctly as needed

• Check trailers to confirm that they are systematically empty be for loading
• Properly square and stack material in locations
• Communicate any inventory discrepancies
• Properly filling out a not in 901 forms
• Material with a green dot has been put back into 901 and this material must be resolved in a timely manner
• Load trucks in safe and efficient manner
• Communicate with appropriate personnel (i.e. Switcher, Off-Site Specialist) as needed
• Model proper communication etiquette at all times
• Be familiar with all products and recognize/read labels
• Be familiar with the warehouse layout and zone specific guidelines
• Execute the process of material flow and storage (main and off-site warehouses) as it relates to the job function
• Actively support inventory issue resolutions as needed
• Primary point-of-contact for Manufacturing as needed
• Check carton conditions versus the visual standard specifications
• Communicate with appropriate personnel (i.e. waterspiders, team leader) as needed
• Follow proper dock/trailer safety protocols
• Understand and practice all safety requirements pertaining to the equipment and areas of the job function
• Maintain up-to-date sign-offs on WAM-SOPs, OPLs training matrix
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook as a job-related work tool
• Replace propane tanks as needed
• Able to access and utilize necessary equipment relating to the job functions
• Recognize and report any problem, or potential problem, to the Team Leader
• Keep work area clean and orderly
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Additional duties as required
