Shift/Pay for this Senior Machine Operator Position: 1st shift/Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p | OT on Saturdays when needed Pay Rate: $17 -$ 19/HR Job Duties for this Senior Machine Operator Position: Operate and maintain ALL equipment including but not limited to Converters, Foil Pack Machines, Paper Cutter, Ultra-Sonic Welder, Powder Pillow Machines, Bottle Filler Machines, and Bottle Labeler and Stick Pack Machines Perform routine and preventive maintenance including troubleshooting problems to maintain quality standards and to keep equipment in running condition – request maintenance as required Inspect for adherence to procedures using visual discrimination, print quality analysis, and judgment Inspect parts to specifications and make adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality Meet production deadlines in the manufacturing plant Ability to operate/monitor various machines and equipment to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops Work closely with other employees to meet production goals Follow work orders and input data into ERP system iPads Experience: Manufacturing: 5 years (Required); Machine operator: 5 years; CNC and hands-on machine operator experience necessary Apply Today! Job Requirements Minimum Five (5) years of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment Able to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment described above MUST wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required (i.e. hair nets, beard nets, lab coats, masks, gloves, etc.) Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment MUST have a good, consistent work ethic and the ability to learn quickly, and make good decisions MUST be able to read, write, and fill out GMP/ISO documentation Ability to multitask and set priorities Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office programs and email A methodical "procedure-oriented" approach to tasks and an affinity for detail for quality control purposes Able to work independently on projects and collaborate as a strong member Excellent attention to detail, flexible and adaptable to change Able to stand or sit for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., mobility to crouch, kneel, reach, bend and do repetitive actions with hands and arms This job is no longer available
