Hire Dynamics in Rock Hill is hiring motivated individuals who are looking for a career in warehouse. This is a 1st Shift Chemical Mixing Operator position located on site at our client located in Rock Hill. 

Shift/Pay for this Chemical Operator Position:

  • 1st shift/Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p | OT on Saturdays when needed
  • Pay Rate: $17 -$ 19/HR 

Job Duties for this Chemical Operator Position

  • Prepare & mix chemical solutions for Manufacturing
  • Prepare various reagents, analytical standards, and test solutions accurately and precisely
  • Follow all SOPs and SMPs
  • Organize lab and Manufacturing for safety, cleanliness, and efficiency
  • Ensure that documentation is routed correctly (to QC, QA, or Mfg)
  • Set up and operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
  • Feed raw material or parts to manually operated machines
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance including troubleshooting problems to maintain quality standards and to keep equipment in running condition – request maintenance as required
  • Meet production deadlines in the manufacturing plant
  • Follow work orders and input data into ERP system iPads

Job Requirements

Requirements for the Chemical Manufacture Machine Operator:

  • Minimum Two (2) years of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment
  • Chemical mixing experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with Paper/Tape/Film slicers and converters a plus
  • High-level math expertise
  • Experience in maintaining and generating controlled documents
  • Understanding of Data-Quality requirements of keeping a formal Laboratory Notebook and familiarity with ASTM, cGMP a plus
  • Able to operate and maintain manufacturing equipment described above
  • MUST wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required (i.e. hair nets, beard nets, lab coats, masks, gloves, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
  • MUST have a good, consistent work ethic and the ability to learn quickly, and make good decisions
  • MUST be able to read, write, and fill out GMP/ISO documentation
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities
  • Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office programs and email
  • A methodical "procedure-oriented" approach to tasks and an affinity for detail for quality control purposes
