This is a temporary opportunity. As a Textile Fixer you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs to knitting machinery as well as completing style changes; will be skilled in using tools to return knitting machines to full production capacities, trained in reading set up sheets to perform style changes, using measuring devices to assure fabric is set up to customer specifications and support the Knitting Associates. Includes use of various mechanical and electrical tools in recalibrating and/or fixing machines. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below! Pay: $15 Shift: 12am – 8am Responsibilities for this Textile Fixer job include: Perform general machine inspections and replace eyelets and/or parts as needed. Perform Style changes when needed. Re-needle machines as needed. Perform general repairs when necessary such as replace belts, switches, fuses, delivery tape maintenance, etc. Replace drives and/or motors when necessary. Oil machines regularly. Job Requirements Qualifications for this Textile Fixer job include: Average shift will stand/walk 7 hours Weight that is lifted will vary: Yarn rolls weighs 10-13 lbs. each; doffed rolls will weigh either 23 lbs. or 50 lbs. An employee will squat about 25 times a shift An employee will climb using a ladder on an as needed basis.
