Here is what some of us were up to …. Our Atlanta branch had the opportunity to lend their time and talent this holiday season to help Samaritan’s Purse and its Operation Christmas Child program for the 10th consecutive year. Operation Christmas Child, a project of Samaritan’s Purse, is the world’s largest Christmas outreach of its kind. Operation Christmas Child has delivered gift-filled shoe boxes to more than 124 million children affected by war, poverty, natural disasters, and other crises in more than 150 countries and territories. On Dec. 7th, our Greenville branch volunteered at the Shriners Hospital for Children for the 4th year in a row. The team’s time at the hospital was spent playing, singing, and filling stocking for the children to have on Christmas morning.
