• Monitor the TMS system and update the status on all shipments based on carrier feedback, research and documentation. Track and trace, monitor, communicate issues and advance all shipments to meet the clients’ request. • Track and trace all shipments, and work with the carriers to ensure each order is serviced on time in order to meet the clients’ requested service dates. • Communicate with carrier partners to ensure that appointments are scheduled and understand any special relationships the carrier might that could affect performance. (i.e. Standard delivery days). • Initiate notification to Customer Service team on all warehouse orders arriving later than the clients’ requested date. This notification will allow customer service to advise and manage the relationship with the client. • Work directly with Transportation Clients on service issues using the required format to include EDI, email, Web, phone and fax. • Obtain, audit and scan (based on Standard Operating Procedures) the Proof of Delivery for every shipment, update the TMS system and forward a copy to the invoicing team. • Initiate Over, Short and Damage (OS&D) reporting based on the audit of each Proof of Delivery and initiate a notification to customer service on any discrepancies. This notification will allow customer service to verify inventory levels and advise and manage the relationship with the client.
