Job Description:  

Drilling is a cutting process that uses a drill bit to cut a hole with a circular cross-section in solid materials. Face milling is a machining technique used for flattening and smoothing the surface of workpieces with a shell mill tool.

Job Duties:

  • Set up and run machines, ensuring proper tooling, fixturing, and safety compliance.
  • operate CNC milling and drilling machines to produce steel plate components according to engineering drawings and specifications
  •  Use oxy-fuel or plasma cutting equipment to cut and shape steel plates into required beveled edges, following engineering drawings and quality specifications
  • Load and unload steel plates onto cutting tables, ensuring proper alignment and safety protocols are followed
  • Follow all safety guidelines, wear appropriate PPE, and adhere to lock-out/tag-out procedures

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recent manufacturing experience (preferably in a metal environement)
  • Recent Machine Operating experience.

Schedules:

1st) 5am to 3pm Monday-Friday

2nd) 3pm to 1am Monday-Friday (+$2 shift differential)

Weekend) 7am to 7 pm Friday-Sunday (+$5 shift differential)

MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT, if working a 2nd or weekend shift.

Job Requirements

2+ years in CNC programming or machining, preferably in steel plate fabrication
