Job Posting: Reach Truck and Sit Down Forklift

Hire Dynamics is seeking Reach Truck and Sit Down Forklift operators for prestigious client in Concord, NC. 

All shifts available – 1st, 2nd, 3rd including 12 hour rotating shifts

Pay: $17.75-19.25 depending on shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to move materials or products to and from storage areas, loading docks, or production lines.
• Use different types of forklifts based on the nature of the load (e.g., heavy-duty forklifts for larger items).
• Assist with inventory control by helping with tracking, counting, and organizing stock.
• Report discrepancies in stock counts, damage to products, or issues with equipment.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Ensure the warehouse and work areas are clean, organized, and safe, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
• Communicate any operational issues, such as maintenance needs, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies.

Requirements:

• Forklift operators must be physically fit to handle the manual aspects of the job, such as lifting and stacking goods.
• Operators must be detail-oriented to ensure the accuracy of inventory and avoid damage to materials.
• Forklift operators often need to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment or products during operations.
• Efficiently managing tasks in a fast-paced warehouse setting is essential for success.
