Hire Dynamics of Concord is NOW hiring for CNC Operator for a manufacturing company in the Kannapolis area.

Shift and Pay for the CNC Operator:

Day shift Monday-Thursday 7am-3:30pm 

Pay $20.00-$25.00/Base on experience 

Job Duties for the CNC Operator:

  • Set up and operate various CNC machinery including milling machines, lathes to produce precision parts.
  • Interpret blueprints, GD&T specifications, and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining.
  • Monitor machine operations for quality assurance, making adjustments as needed to maintain tolerances.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot issues related to tooling or machine performance.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Handle materials safely within the manufacturing facility, including materials handling and basic fabrication tasks.
  • Assist with tooling setup and changeovers using hand tools or forklifts when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly line processes and support quality control initiatives.

Job Requirements

Requirements 

  • 3-5 years of CNC Operator experience 
  • Proficiency in CNC Set-up and operation with experience in CNC lathe and CNC milling machines
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, mechanical principles, and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
  • Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, tooling setups, and forklifts
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles a plus
  • Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations in machining operations
