Job Posting: Water Lab Technician

Our Rockmart Client is seeking an experienced Water Lab Technician.

This is a temporary position with no set end date. 

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The Water Laboratory Technician is responsible for providing support for Sales, Maintenance, and Support teams by analyzing water samples and supporting the water sampling-related activities within the company; for providing support to Production teams by analyzing chemical quality and production of chemical; for maintaining the lab’s operation and accuracy with analysis of water samples.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Water Sample Analysis

a.Perform water analysis on all water samples that are received by the lab for testing. 

Quality and Accuracy Checks and Reporting

a.Perform routine accuracy checks on lab equipment and procedures.

Manage and dispose of waste properly and in accordance with regulations, policies, and procedures.

a.Able to understand and follow the procedures for handling hazardous waste.
