Job Posting: Set-Up Tech

We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Setup Technician to support manufacturing operations through the setup, startup, troubleshooting, and optimization of injection molding machines, robots, auxiliary equipment, and secondary production equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment runs efficiently, safely, and at optimal cycle times while maintaining high-quality production standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and collaborative, with a passion for continuous improvement and process excellence.

Essential Job Functions

Essential job functions:

• Set up and start injection molding machines, robots, and related production equipment
• Analyze, diagnose, and adjust production and quality issues to achieve optimal performance and results
• Ensure machines are running at optimum cycle times
• Document cycle times and all setup or process changes to support future setups and continuous improvement
• Maintain clear communication with production teams regarding press status to support effective startup and shutdown planning
• Assist team members with process-, die-, or tooling-related issues as needed
• Perform die changes
• Support overall production goals by following safety, quality, and operational standards
