Type: DIRECT HIRE
Shifts: 12-Hour Day & Night Shifts (4 On 4 Off )

Join Commscope Catawba’s team as a Direct Hire Maintenance Technician II, supporting cutting-edge manufacturing environment that keeps the world connected. We are hiring on a 4×4 schedule for both Day Shift and Night Shift (with night-shift premium). These 12-hour shift include daily overtime pay for hours worked over 8, offering strong earning potential and a consistent rotation schedule.

As a Maintenance Technician II, you will play a critical role in maintaining high-reliability operations across the facility. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex production and facility equipment including PLC’s, HMI’s, AC/DC drives, VFDs, automation controls, and motor/drive systems. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance, support equipment upgrades, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and continuously improving operation.

Job Requirements

What We’re Looking For in a Maintenance Technician II

 

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstratred industrial manufacturing maintenance experience
  • 4-5 Years working with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives, and automation equipment
  • Ability to troublshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems
  • Military technical experience and training may be considered in lieu of industrial experience
  • Valid driver's license

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, SLC, PLC5, PowerFlex, and Kinetix drive systems
  • Electrical certification or state electrical license
  • Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Systems, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering Technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex equipment issues
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, protocol, and high-quality work
