Workdays: Monday – Friday/ Occasional weekends Cold Press Operator Job Responsibilities: Utilize tooling and materials for cold pressing of powdered metal diamond segments. Prepare cold press tooling by measuring of height and parallelism. Assemble tool die parts in the cold press machine. Remove and inspect cold press dies from the machine. Organize and select proper tooling to fulfill work requirements. Clean equipment for preparation of subsequent orders. Setup and adjust machine parameters. Perform quality checks on segments that include micrometer measurement of height, length and thickness. Record quality and order completion date. Evaluate and confer with Quality Control on manufacturing process inspection techniques and standards. Job Requirements Cold Press Operator Job Requirements: Working knowledge of basic industrial math and metric system of weights/measurements Ability to read micrometers Standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds. Train on 1st shift, then move to 2nd shift Good attendance Follow directions. Work independently and in a team environment.
