Muffler Shop Associate – Robotic Welding Support

Pay: $17.50/hour

Schedule: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role:

Join our team in the Muffler Shop and be part of the essential first steps in muffler welding and motor construction. You’ll work alongside a robotic welder, ensuring parts are correctly placed and removed to keep production running smoothly. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload corresponding parts onto the robotic welding machine.
• Ensure parts fit correctly and meet specifications.
• Maintain awareness of space and time constraints for efficient workflow.
• Follow production guidelines (note: pay is not based on production output).
• Report any machine calibration issues to designated engineers.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a time-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail for proper part placement and fit.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; willingness to learn robotic welding processes.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift parts as needed.
