A co-founder of Atlanta-based commercial staffing provider Hire Dynamics in 2001, Jon Neff says that the biggest challenge he had to deal with as CFO during 2017 was the company’s acquisition of StaffMasters, a major commercial staffing provider in the Carolinas. The deal nearly doubled the size of Hire Dynamics, which Neff notes has grown organically at a 26 percent compound annual growth rate for the past 16 years. “The successful transition was the result of having clearly communicated integration goals,” said Neff, “but at the same time operating with the open mindset, so that we could learn through the process, while staying true to our company culture.” Neff is a finalist in the Large Private Company category in the 2018 CFO of the Year Awards presented by Atlanta Business Chronicle in partnership with the Association for Corporate Growth Atlanta.
