They are a leading plate cutting and processing company. the ideal candidate will support our engineering processes, improve production efficiency, and ensure high-quality product output. This role plays a key part in continuous improvement across the organization. Job Summary The CAD/CNC Programmer is responsible for creating drawings, developing CNC programs, and scheduling work for the milling and drilling department. This position partners with engineering, planning, and sales teams to meet project requirements and ensure products meet quality and safety standards. Salary will be anywhere from $60,000 to $75,000. (Based off experience) Responsibilities Develop engineering programs, specifications, and documentation for Mill/Drill operations Create prototypes and validate design concepts Utilize CAD, MasterCAM, SigmaNEST, and other design tools Analyze and resolve technical issues; propose improvements Perform simulations, testing, and feasibility studies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet timelines Provide clear communication to technical and non-technical personnel Conduct testing, inspections, and ensure safety compliance Assist with project planning, cost estimating, and deadlines Support continuous improvement initiatives Provide guidance to junior team members when needed Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Software Engineering, or related field preferred Experience: 2–3 years of related engineering or technical experience preferred Experience with CAD, MasterCAM, SigmaNEST required Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency with engineering and simulation software Strong communication and teamwork abilities Knowledge of safety regulations and QA procedures Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Manual dexterity to use computer and equipment Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, temperature changes, and airborne particles PPE required when working in plant areas Temperature range: 50°–100°F Office environment for administrative tasks Benefits through Hire Dynamics: At Hire: The American Worker benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, life & AD&D, accident and critical illness & hospital.
