This role supports the receiving department by verifying freight, scanning UPCs, documenting discrepancies, and ensuring all inventory is processed accurately. Contract to hire Weekly pay Opportunity for overtime Free online courses $100 Referral Shift & Pay 3rd Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 5pm – 2:30am Weekend 3rd Shift: Sat, Sun, & Mon, 6pm – 4:30am ALL SHIFTS MUST TRAIN ON 1ST FOR 2 WEEKS: Tuesday – Friday, 5am – 4:30pm $18.25 – $20, depending upon shift Job Requirements Key Responsibilities Freight Verification — Verify all incoming inventory from trucks by counting, scanning UPCs, and confirming product accuracy. Cycle Counting — Perform cycle counts on freight and ensure quantities match system records. Data Entry — Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enter counts, quantities, and OS&D information. Labeling & Documentation — Generate and apply item labels, PYBL labels, and complete receiving packages. Quality & Inspection — Identify shortages, overages, and damaged freight; report discrepancies to leadership. Move a cart throughout the warehouse with a computer to enter inventory data. Assist with pallet breakdown, sorting, stacking, and preparing materials for shipment. Follow all SOPs, safety rules, and production standards. Qualifications: Previous inventory verification or cycle counting experience required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for the entire shift. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable using RF scanners, computers, and WMS systems. Able to read, write, and perform basic math for counting and documentation. Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus (client may certify onsite). Work Environment: Fast-paced distribution center environment. Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
