Job Posting: Slitter Machine Operator- Recruiting Job order

Job Duties for the Slitter Machine Operator:To set up and operate slitting machines according to the appropriate “machine operator’s manual” under the direction of the Group Leader.Carry and supply materials to the machines.Remove the finished product from the machine.Supplies and finished goods of up to 38 lbs. must be lifted about 75 times per shift. (Maximum weight to be lifted is 50lbs.)Operators will be cross trained to operate different machines.Recommend productivity improvement plans and cost reduction plans (Total Productive Maintenance activity). Investigate and analyze the causes of target frustration.Help train other machine operators.Facilitate internal communication and working relationships within areas of responsibility.Other responsibilities as assigned.
