Job Title: Fabricator Job Description: Grind, copes, notches and fits parts as necessary.Also welds and partially assembles parts when required. Tasks to Perform: · Obtains necessary materials, drawing and tools to perform ach job. · Interprets drawings and sketches and does layout work on piping, structural, plate, etc. · Calculates any dimensions necessary to complete the assigned job · Fits-up and tack welds materials to be welded · Fabricates jigs and fixtures to be used in production as needed. · Sets up and operates positioners and rolls · Sets up and operates various types of welding machines, including MIG, TIG, STICK, to fit and weld any type of material.
