Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, drawings, and work instructions. Set up and adjust welding equipment for various production jobs. Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards. Use grinders, hand tools, and measuring devices to prepare and finish materials. Maintain production and quality goals while adhering to safety requirements. Perform basic troubleshooting and identify weld defects when necessary. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Qualifications Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. Experience welding steel and other metal materials. Knowledge of welding equipment setup and operation. Ability to use measuring tools and perform quality inspections.
