Job Posting: Forklift Driver- Roll Clamp Operator

Responsible for all activities associated with safely operating and caring for the clamp truck as well as assisting in the operation of the roll to roll digital printing machine.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take rolls of paper to the digital printer and record all rolls on the proper forms
• .Learn to read lineups.
• Mark buttrolls as to the size, diameter, lineal footage, and grade before returning to stock.
• Unload rolls from trailers, check, and note any physical damage to the rolls.
• Scan rolls to location.Use Mill wide for consumption and roll stock receipts.
• Operate the clamp truck in a safe manner.
• Complete clamp truck inspection report at the beginning of each shift and turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
• Keep the warehouse organized and clean.
• Turn in roll stock tallies to the Supervisor or Scheduling Department.
• Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
• Adheres to daily production schedule.
• Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery and service goals.Assist the operator as instructed by supervision.
• Read related MSDS and learn proper response for emergency chemical spills or skin contact.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.Performs other duties as assigned.
