Lead and encourage the development of the management team and employees by demonstrating a proficiency in operational efficiencies and employee engagement. Set high standards and goals for the distribution center team and ensure that they are achieved. Accountable for P&L performance of assigned business function. Job Responsibilities: Plans, directs, and coordinates the activities of the shipping department in an organized, safe, and sanitary work environment that is in compliance with the Company’s policies, OSHA, and regulatory requirements. Utilize data-driven approaches to optimize labor including automation, optimize inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse layout.
