Hire Dynamics is currently assisting a local client in their search for a Maintenance Level 2-3, and Compounder position in Cartersville, GA.

Compounder position 3rd shift

3rd Shift: M-F 10:30pm-7:00am, OT on Saturdays.

Pay: $19-$20/hr based on experience. Weekly pay

Performing kettle and holding tank washouts compliant with the requirements of the department and/or formula.

Recording raw material requirements, lot/batch numbers, and consumed quantities on required paperwork and container labels.

Submitting samples of formula and raw materials to Quality Control for testing and approval.

Ensuring formula batches meet required spec’s by following the Production Order Instructions and procedures and processes within the respective Compounding Departments.

Safely and appropriately using such tools as pumps, hoses, transfer lines, and valves to transfer both raw materials and formulas from one container to another.

Wearing all applicable PPE required in the different areas entered in the plant as well as adhering to the Production Floor Employee Dress Code.

Execute assigned and/or required housekeeping in the Compounding work areas to ensure a safe and clean work environment that minimizes risk for contamination and/or exposure.

Replace and maintain hoses, gaskets, and connectors, as needed, to ensure safe, clean transfer of materials and formulas. Assist in troubleshooting transfer pumps.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.), may include specialized or vocational courses.

Two to three years chemical mixing and material handling experience preferred, basic math, reading, and writing skills.

Needs to be able to read, write, and understand basic English conversationally, recipes and work orders are in English. Must complete background and drug screen.

 

Maintenance Level 2- 3

1st Shift: M-F 7:30am-4:00pm, OT on Saturdays

Pay: Level 2, $24-$25.50/hr –,Level 3, $26-$28/hr based on experience. (PLC experience required for level 3)

Weekly pay

Minimum of five years in a manufacturing maintenance setting.

Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings.

Level 3: Four-year degree or technical maintenance certificate, (maintenance experience and other certifications in lieu of degree/maintenance certificate if approved).

Training Certifications:

The technician must be certified or progressing on certification for a minimum of four, (4), disciplines.  Each discipline must be approved prior to commencement.

Demonstrative ability on completing preventive maintenance work orders for all production equipment.

Train/perform planner duties while on vacation/absence including:

 

 

Respond to equipment repair requests for production as needed

Assign work orders for equipment repairs and PMs.

Close PMs/completed work orders in the MVP system.
