PAY: $17 – $25 an hour SHIFT: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM SCOPE OF POSITION: To assist the Accounting/Purchasing/Scheduling and Customer Service department in a manner that enables them to properly schedule and order raw materials and working with production so the orders are produced correctly. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES: Within the limits of applicable policies, procedures and established plans, he/she has authority to take action and make decisions. The assignment of work or delegation or responsibility does not relinquish responsibility for results. Performance will be measured by the extent to which the responsibilities have been fulfilled. Functional Responsibilities Accounting: Create customer debit and credit notes and bill graphics as needed. Review discounts & sales terms on customer AR accounts. Perform customer credit checks & maintain customer credit files. Answer customer inquires on their accounts. Follow-up with customers on past due/short paid invoices/overpayments. Maintain status report on past due/short paid invoices/overpayments. Save AR invoices/credits to the shared drive Audit/review consumption and waste tickets daily. Research weekly cycle count inventory discrepancies by reviewing production for under/over consumption for rolls not located. Build product structure daily which consists of setting up new items and making reviews to item changes. Assist with physical inventory/part of a count team Backup for payroll processing. Customer Service: Provide customer service dept support. Checking orders for accuracy and completeness. Check & cross-check specs & pricing for accuracy before and after entering orders. Maintain current and accurate price lists. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Regular use of computers, telephones and other types of office equipment. Must organize complex tasks and meet deadlines. Associates Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience in Accounting. (required) General accounting knowledge is essential for the position that includes balancing inputs and outputs along with standard costing knowledge or experience as an addition. Prior experience in fast paced manufacturing office environment . Prior data entry, filing and organizational experience. Good oral communication skills.
